To go where no man has gone before!

Space…..the final frontier!.......to boldly go where no man has gone before!

These are words that are engraved in my memory as a lifelong Star Trek fan so getting to review the Strange New Worlds Omnibus was a treat that can’t be beat!

With writers like Ryan Parrot, Mags Visaggio and Jody Houser these stories were in very capable hands! The writing flows well while giving what you would come to expect from Starfleet storytelling, yet they put their own little nods and spins that give each story a cohesive and put together story yet different at the same time.

The nice thing about these stories is we tackle not only the science fiction like gene splicing and therapies but also time vortex and existence. We also see the day to day dramas of Starfleet and its protocols and how the prime directive sometimes goes against what is ethically right in the game of the greater good.

The art transition is also nice as you can tell your getting a different story but it feels so smooth that you just read right into the next one. Also the highlight for me was seeing the incredible art of Sean Von Gorman!

So if you are looking to join Starfleet and have prepared your logs, step inside and get Star Trek Strange New Worlds wherever you get your comics !
