Swords, Metal and Sorcery! The story of IONHEART

The laws of robots declare that a robot cannot injure a human, robot must obey an order given by a human that does violate rule 1 and last a robot must protect its existence while not violating rules 1 and 2! But what happens when a robot can think but more importantly can feel?
In the story of Ionheart we follow Billy, a magician to some and a lover and friend to others. But with this knight who is trying to fend off a slumbering demon in what appears to be the middle ages yet with technology? From here we go into a cascade of deception and redemption as these characters try to come out on top from what is holding them back.
This story is very special in the way that it cuts through the fantasy and science fiction to show at its core it is a journey of relationships. We find Billy, a sentient ship and a princess trying to understand their worlds but how they fit in them and how they relate to each other. The heavy focus on love and what it means to love someone and the work it takes to keep that going is truly commendable!
The other thing the creator has done with the art that really helps the story is keeping a sleek well-polished simple work! It’s not over the top but in the scenes where it needs to be there is very detailed work.
If you’re looking for a story that keeps you entertained while touching on the strings of what makes us human and the needing and holding on to love, this is the story for you!
